Crop Advisory Group next steps

27 August 2024

More than 30 growers participated in the Crop Advisory Group (CAG) workshop held at the end of the AGM in Pukekohe on 8 August.

‘CAGs are a vital link between the Vegetables NZ Board and growers,’ says Vegetables NZ chief executive, Antony Heywood.

‘At the workshop, there were plenty of ideas on how to increase the impact of the CAGs and improve the experience for grower members. We want to ensure that the time and effort invested in the CAGs results in maximum payback for the Board and members.’

Antony says the findings and recommendations from the workshop will be considered at the next Vegetables NZ Board meeting on 24 September.

‘We will provide everyone with an update and a list of agreed actions and improvements after that.’
