Using Government regional development funding for decarbonisation projects

HortNZ has put together a paper on using the Government's Regional Infrastructure Fund (RIF) to fund greenhouse decarbonisation projects – either new infrastructure or improving existing structures.
However, the fund is not accessible for greenhouses located in the entire Auckland region, or the urban centres of Wellington and Christchurch. Also, applications are likely to be only open until mid-2025.
The HortNZ paper highlights specific points that applications should focus on, to show their alignment with the fund's purpose.
