Australian entomologist, Dr Paul Horne, is visiting New Zealand in late February. His visit will be of interest to a range of vegetable growers interested in reducing pesticide reliance and promoting sustainable pest management.
Paul's focus is on potato crops, where he leads integrated pest management (IPM) for various insect pests, including potato virus vectors like aphids and thrips.
Paul's also involved in ongoing research to address Tomato Potato Psyllid, a vector linked to Zebra Chip disease.
Paul is visiting Lincoln University, Massey University in Palmerston North, and Pukekohe. Please click below for details and to register.
